Only 60,900 sqm of office space was completed in the Polish capital in 2023. It's the lowest total in the history of the Warsaw office market. Savills also notes that development activity picked up in the H2 of last year, in response to a prolonged period of undersupply.

Merity Funds, a sister company of Trigea Real Estate Fund specialized in development projects, has bought a real estate property located in Gliwice. The development will consist of two buildings with a total GLA of approx. 60,000 sqm on about 12 hectares of land.

HB Reavis has signed a 10-year lease agreement with international law firm Baker McKenzie Poland. The firm will move its Polish headquarters to the Varso Tower building, where it will occupy circa 4,400 sqm of space.

The CEE-6 is poised for a significant GDP growth rate surge, tripling from below 1 pct last year to around 2.5 pct, retail parks continue to be a central focus driving market growth, the slowdown in deliveries of new offices will aid in filling vacant spaces, especially in modern/ESG-compliant offices – these are some of the predictions for the CEE-6 in 2024 just revealed by Colliers.
