New cinema at the junction of Ochota and Wola
POLAND Helios Polska chain is entering Warsaw by opening a cinema in the Blue City shopping centre. Viewers watched the first few screenings in the new cinema on February 14th.

Tunnel drilling on Zakopianka
POLAND Work on the construction of the tunnel of the future ‘Zakopianka’ i.e. the S7 Lubień – Rabka Zdrój route has been resumed. The tunnelling work will be executed around the clock, including Saturdays and Sundays, while large diameter piles at the southern portal of the tunnel will be performed for twelve hours a day.
Dino has capital for development
POLAND Dino Polska and a subsidiary Dino Południe have signed loan agreements worth a total of PLN 150 mln with PKO Bank Polski. The acquired funds will be used to finance further development of stores and the construction of logistics facilities for the Dino chain.
Shopping centres lose customers
POLAND According to the data of FootFall Indeks Polska, which examines the footfall in shopping centres, the number of customers in shopping centres in Poland dropped by 6 pct in January 2019 compared to the same period a year earlier.
