Design chosen for Ostrava philharmonic

CZECH REPUBLIC New York studio Steven Holl Architects and Prague-based Architecture Acts have jointly won the international competition to design the Ostrava Philharmonic Hall.

The winning concept garnered six of the seven votes of the jury. A design by Polish architects Konior Studio also reached the final stage.

The new concert hall with 1,300 seats will be the home of the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra. It is expected to open in 2023.

Industrial and Logistics Market Q4 2024. While this was below the new supply levels recorded in previous years, the Polish market remains in good shape. Vacancy rates edged down, with development activity driven by demand coming from retail and 3PL.

Syrena Real Estate has sold its first PRS project at ul. Wolska in Warsaw. The new owner is the Belgian company Xior Student Housing NV. The transaction value was EUR 12 mln, making it the second successful sale of a stabilised PRS project in Poland.
