UK Panattoni takes Honda's place

Panattoni has been given the go-ahead to develop a major logistics project on the site of the former Honda plant at Swindon in the south of England, between London and Bristol. According to the BBC, the development will consist of 12 facilities with a total of 670,000 sqm of leasable space.

Electrum is building a 200 MW solar farm for EDP Renewables. The project will be built on 245 hectares in the Przykona municipality in the Greater Poland voivodeship. The investment is being carried out in record time of less than a year. The engineering work is scheduled to be completed in autumn 2023.

In the first half of 2022, Keywords Studios, the gaming giant, signed one of the largest regional leases in the past year. After only a few months, the company has decided to expand further and has increased its leasable area at Global Office Park in Katowice by more than 3,900 sqm gla.

Panattoni has another factory project for a global industrial giant. One of the leading names in home appliances and electronics will have already begun using a 40,000 sqm factory before the end of 2023. The BTO centre is being built in Western Poland and is to be used to produce home appliances in an investment of over EUR 80 mln.

Sii has signed a lease agreement for five floors in the Olivia Prime building in Gdańsk. Sii has been present in the Olivia Centre complex since 2010. The current lease agreement totals 10,000 sqm.

Germany Garbe leases to K+S

Garbe has gained the K+S company as a tenant for the first of its two logistics halls in Wildeck in the district of Hersfeld-Rotenburg, Germany. The company, a supplier of mineral products for the agricultural, industrial and consumer sectors, will use the approx. 10,000 sqm of leased space for its warehousing and logistics activities.

P3 Group has announced record operational results and strong financials for full year 2022. The European investor and developer of warehouse properties increased Gross Asset Value to EUR 8.3 bln, only modestly impacted by a 2.3 pct valuation decline. Operationally, the company’s portfolio grew to 7.6 mln sqm across 11 European countries, registering an all-time high occupancy rate of 98 pct.

VGP, the European owner and developer of semi-industrial and logistics real estate, has concluded a lease contract with Dachser Czech Republic for the lease of new space in VGP Park České Budějovice, situated in the Světlík commercial zone. The hall, with an area of 14,000 square meters will be tailor-made for the European provider of logistic services.

Poland Soho goes green

Construction commences for the third stage of Soho by Yareal development in Warsaw’s Kamionek district, which will include two residential buildings containing 14 apartments and 132 higher-standard flats. Also, work on a 300-metre-long, fully landscaped park which runs through the complex will be completed later this year.

Panattoni has begun construction of a new park in the Greater Poland capital region. Panattoni Park Poznań East II will be built near the A2 motorway and will cover an area of 37,000 sqm. The first tenant will be logistics operator Geodis.

An international investment fund has sold four retail centres: Stara Cegielnia in Szczecin, Galeria Kosmos in Koszalin, OK Centrum Wałbrzych and OK Centrum Strzegom, with a total area of app. 15,000 sqm. They are to be partly renovated and re-commercialised by the buyer.
