Colosseum Mall in Bucharest has announced the signing of a lease agreement with Hype by Kiddo for the opening of large entertainment centre. The centre will have an area of approx. 2,500 sqm, and the tenant's investment will amount to EUR 1.5 mln.

Harden Construction has completed erection of a new warehouse at Panattoni Park Błonie III. The general contractor took seven months to complete all works, including obtaining an occupancy permit. The area of the facility is 43,400 sqm.

Develia has finalised its agreement to sell the Wola Retro office building in Warsaw to WR Office, a subsidiary of an investment fund managed by the Adventum Group for EUR 69.3 mln (app. PLN 318 mln).

With the symbolic ground-breaking ceremony, construction work has begun at Victoria Park Hamburg on a future-oriented property where components for hydrogen production will be manufactured, tested and stored. The property with a total area of around 18,000 sqm is being built in a joint venture by Garbe and the Jebens Group.

According to Walter Herz, investments in the real estate market are coming through regardless of the difficulties in the economy, but housing construction has temporarily slowed down. Warehouses have slowed down, while retail parks are still gaining momentum.

Serbia Radisson RED to arrive in Belgrade

Radisson Hotel Group has announced the debut of its Radisson RED brand in Serbia with the signing of Radisson RED Belgrade, set to open later this year. Located just minutes from the capital’s historic centre, the hotel is the first Radisson RED branded facility to be operated by PPHE Hotel Group’s Croatian subsidiary Arena Hospitality Group.

CEE GTC's portfolio with major changes in 2022

GTC reported rental income of EUR 167 mln in 2022, compared to EUR 172 mln in 2021. The decrease was due, among other things, to the sale of the group's Serbian portfolio and lower occupancy levels in Polish and Romanian office buildings.

The Norblin Factory mulfunctional complex in Warsaw's Wola district has received Barrier-Free Building (‘Obiekt Bez Barier’) certificates from Fundacja Integracja. Both the new and historic buildings of the complex owned by the Capital Park Group have been certified for architectural accessibility and adaptation to the needs of various users, including people with disabilities, the elderly, those with temporary disabilities, and parents with children.

Poland No new Warsaw offices in Q1 – Newmark

According to the ‘Office Occupier – Warsaw Office Market’ report by Newmark Polska, the first three months of 2023 saw no new office completions in Warsaw, while occupier activity weakened and the capital’s vacancy rate remained flat compared to the previous quarter. Developers are, however, commencing or planning new office projects in the city.
