European operations drive Tesco global sales

CEE REGION In the first half of its 2014/2015 fiscal year, Tesco has seen its total European sales (excluding the UK) dipping by 1.8 pct y-o-y at constant rates and by 9.3 pct y-o-y at actual rates, to GBP 4.84 bln. Meanwhile, Tesco's overall trading profits in Europe increased by 38 pct, to GBP 76 mln, marking the best overseas H1 result.
