CROATIA The Hilton Garden Inn has opened in Zagreb with153 rooms. The hotel includes complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property, a 24-hour business centre, a fitness room and The Shop store.

Strabag sells Warsaw hotel
POLAND Strabag Real Estate has sold its recently opened Motel One on ul. Tamka in central Warsaw to the operator of the hotel – Motel One. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed.

Office block to turn into hotel
POLAND Re-construction work on the former Projprzem Makrum office building in central Bydgoszcz has started. The building is to be completely transformed into a three-star Focus Hotel, becoming the 12th hotel of the chain, which is owned by Polish group Immobile.

Mercure to open in Fabryczna City
POLAND Orbis has announced that it will open a 200-room Mercure hotel in the Fabryczna City mixed-use complex, which is currently being built in Kraków, and has signed a long-term franchise agreement with the project’s developer Inter-Bud.

Zdrojowa to build two Radisson hotels
POLAND Radisson Hotel Group has signed two agreements with Zdrojowa Invest & Hotels for the development of the Radisson Resort Szklarska Poręba in the Karkonosze mountains and Radisson Resort Kołobrzeg at the Baltic seaside. The hotels are to be operated by Zdrojowa Hotels under an international franchise agreement with Radisson Hospitality.
