Baltic states Panattoni to offer BTS services to the Baltics
Panattoni is planning to extend its operations to all three Baltic states but is to concentrate particularly on Lithuania. As part of the new strategy the company intends to unify its cross border services, which will allow its clients to take advantage of BTS solutions both in Poland and the Baltic states.

Poland Cosmetics brand chooses MDC2 Park Łódź South
MDC2 and Fortress Real Estate Investments have finalised the lease of around 25,000 sqm within MDC2 Park Łódź South. The tenant, Oriflame Holding, owner of the Oriflame cosmetics brand, will start operations at the new location in Q1 2025.

Europe Top destinations for industrial nearshore supply chains
According to the 2024 Savills Nearshoring Index study, the Czech Republic is the second most attractive location for industrial occupiers looking to ‘nearshore’ supply chains. Portugal ranks first, Poland in third place, Sweden being fourth, and Japan rounding out the top five.

Hungary VGP Park Kecskemét is ready
VGP in Hungary has handed over its new premises to Linde + Wieman. The German automotive parts manufacturer occupies 16,000 sqm at VGP Park Kecskemét, in the central part of the country.

Poland Panattoni buys Kraków site
Panattoni has purchased a land plot where it is to build Panattoni Park Kraków East V. The construction work for a 30,000 sqm hall is scheduled to launch in October 2024.

Poland Big deal at MLP Poznań West
MLP Group has signed a long-term lease agreement with a Chinese manufacturer of automotive parts, which, as part of its global nearshoring strategy, will lease 23,000 sqm of warehouse and office space at the MLP Poznań West logistics centre.

Romania VGP welcomes Miele Tehnica in Brașov
VGP has signed a lease agreement with Miele Tehnica Brașov, a subsidiary of the German Miele group, for 2,000 sqm, within VGP Park Brasov. The company will use this space to assemble motors and pumps for Miele appliances.

Poland Good Point V fully commercialised
Real Management has signed an agreement with Sales Service for the lease of more than 5,000 sqm of warehouse and office space at Good Point V warehouse and production park in Łubna near Warsaw. The facility has thus been fully commercialised.

Poland Poland records the highest warehouse take-up in Europe
According to the latest report from Cushman & Wakefield, the Polish industrial market saw a marked upturn in occupier activity in Q2 2024, reporting the highest leasing volume in Europe. In addition, Poland’s total industrial stock is poised to soon surpass the 35 mln sqm mark.

Poland Lighting manufacturer's factory almost ready
Trilux is preparing to open its new factory in Świdnik. The 23,000 sqm facility is being built by Panattoni for the lighting manufacturer. The investment will enable the Trilux Group not only to increase production, assembly capacity and improve logistics in this part of Europe, but also to develop new products and carry out administrative and IT activities.

Harden Construction has completed the construction of City Logistics Poznań III. The building in Poland has already been handed over to Raben Logistics Polska for use. The warehouse is located in Poznań, at ul. Obodrzycka, near the A2 motorway.

A BTS project has been completed for insulation and acoustic materials producer K-Flex in Uniejów, about 55 km northwest of Łódź. The new building increases the existing plant on the site by 20,000 sqm to 120,000 sqm.

Romania More than double new demand
Companies leased 410,500 sqm of industrial & logistics spaces in the first half of the year, a total which reflects a 25 pct drop when compared with the previous year. However, according to data from the Cushman & Wakefield Echinox, the new demand had a share of 52 pct in the overall leasing volume in the same period (213,500 sqm), more than double vs. the new supply.
