Barbara Topolska quits Neinver

EUROPE Barbara Topolska, CEO of Neinver, has stepped down. She will be replaced by Daniel Losantos, the current managing director of Neinver Group.
“After 13 years of work at Neinver, I have decided to resign as CEO and leave the company. This is my personal decision, which has been approved by the company’s board. (…) I’ll stay at Neinver until the end of the year ,” Barbara Topolska wrote in a statement. Daniel Losantos joined Neinver’s business development department in 2011 and was named the company’s managing director in 2012. Previously, he worked at the finance boutique A&G for several years. Poland Warsaw developers increase supply as sales stall

Warsaw developers significantly increased the number of new apartments for sale in the second quarter of 2026, but sales fell. They brought 4,753 homes to market, up 66.8 pct from the previous quarter, while 3,840 apartments were sold, a 9.4 pct decline. The increase in supply pushed the number of apartments available for sale to 16,345 at the end of June, up 7.1 pct from three months earlier. Even so, quarterly sales remained 4.6 pct above the five-year average of 3,670 homes, according to data from CBRE and Tabelaofert.pl.

Global luxury brands are expanding more cautiously, choosing markets and locations more carefully rather than rapidly adding stores, according to Colliers’ EMEA Retailer Performance & Consumer Spending Trends report. Weaker consumer confidence, higher costs and a less certain economic outlook are making retailers pay closer attention to sales and profitability. Warsaw remains one of the markets attracting interest from luxury brands, including some that have yet to enter Poland.

Poland’s overall warehouse vacancy rate is around 7 pct, but large, well-located warehouse space is becoming much harder to find. Companies looking for more than 15,000 sqm are increasingly competing for the same buildings. According to SQM Advisory, the squeeze is no longer confined to the very largest warehouses; availability of mid-sized units is also tightening.

Poland’s warehouse market picked up noticeably in the first half of 2026 after a year dominated by lease renegotiations. New leases and expansions made up 60 pct of tenant activity, while cautious development kept new supply in check. The vacancy rate fell from 7.1 pct at the end of March to 6.3 pct at the end of June, according to JLL.

Poland Wrocław office market sees weaker tenant activity in H1 2026

Tenant activity slowed in Wrocław in the first half of 2026. Two office projects were completed in the first quarter, leaving no buildings under construction. The vacancy rate also edged down. However, with around 295,000 sqm of space available for immediate occupation, it will take time for the market to rebalance, according to Newmark Polska’s 'Office Occupier – Wrocław Office Market' report.

Poland Warehouse demand strengthens as availability tightens in Poland

Poland’s warehouse market gained momentum in the first half of 2026 as occupier demand picked up while the development pipeline continued to shrink. Gross take-up rose 21 pct year on year, while net take-up – covering new leases and expansions – jumped 58 pct to more than 2.1 mln sqm. The vacancy rate fell to 6.3 pct and space under construction dropped to its lowest level in more than nine years. According to Axi Immo, the combination of strong demand and limited new supply could stimulate rent rises in many markets.

Henley has completed the sale of Galeria Pestka, a 41,658 sqm shopping centre in Poznań, Poland, to OPAL CENTRES, part of DromeStar Group. During Henley’s ownership, annual footfall rose from 4.8 mln to 5.1 mln, returning above pre-pandemic levels, while occupancy remained above 95 pct.

Construction has begun on a new emergency care unit at Thomayer University Hospital in Prague, officially launched by Prime Minister Andrej Babiš and Health Minister Adam Vojtěch.
