POLAND Generation Park Y awarded gold

Human resources
The Generation Park Y office tower, which was developed by Skanska in Warsaw's Wola-Centrum district and is now owned by Hansainvest Real Assets, has received a Well Core & Shell ‘Gold’ certificate.

The certification process, which assesses the safety and comfort of an office building for its users, covers such aspects as access to fresh, clean air, the water quality, interior lighting and acoustics as well as the technological systems that affect their mental and physical well-being.

Our strategy is to create ideally designed, well thought-out and user-friendly office buildings that provide the best conditions for work. We focus on the comfort, well-being and health of the tenants. We also use sustainable solutions that reduce the environmental impact of our buildings. The certificates we receive, such as Well ‘Gold’, are the best confirmation that our approach is effective. They are also recognised by our business partners and investor.
Rafał Stoparczyk, a project director in Skanska’s CEE commercial development business unit

Generation Park Y is a 38-storey building with a height of 140m and 47,600 sqm gla. Its entire office space was leased by PZU as the insurance company's headquarters. In December 2021, the building was bought by Hansainvest Real Assets for EUR 285 mln. The building has also obtained (for core and shell) LEED ‘Platinum’ and the Well Health-Safety Rating, while an application for a Building without Barriers accessibility certificate is also underway.
