Poland New CDO at MDC2

Human resources
Maciej Madejak has been appointed chief development officer, founder, and member of the management board of MDC2. Previously, he held management-level positions at Prologis, Goodman and Panattoni.

As CDO Maciej will be accountable for project development with direct responsibility over land acquisition, project design and leasing.

I had the pleasure to work with Maciej many years ago. The fact that our professional paths crossed each other again is a testament to the development of the Polish real estate market over the last 20 years.
Hadley Dean, a founder of MDC2

Previously, Maciej, together with his teams, has been responsible for the development of almost 4 mln sqm of modern warehouse space, which represents more than 20 pct of the entire class A Polish stock, and has acquired over 950 ha of development sites. He has more than 25 years of warehouse development experience, having started his exemplary career in 1999 at Prologis, where he became the country leader in Poland. During that period, he built a development team that delivered industrial and production space for such tenants as Antalis, Fagor, Raben and others. In 2011, he moved to Goodman as the head of business development, just as the developer was entering the Polish market. There he built up a team of thirty people who delivered industrial space for such clients as Amazon, Zalando, Intermarché, Intercars, Mila and many more.

Since 2018, Maciej was the managing director for Panattoni Europe responsible for development in southern Poland as well as city logistics across the country.

MDC2’s management team now consists of four members: Hadley Dean – the founder, Maciej Madejak – the CDO and founder, Jeremy Cordery – the COO and founder, and Peter Love – the finance director and partner.

An interview with Maciej Madejak is to be published in the next, January-February issue of Eurobuild
