CEE region Savills appoints CEE CEO

Savills has appointed Stuart Jordan, the current managing director of the consultancy in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as CEO of the entire CEE region.

Stuart Jordan has been managing the company’s Czech business since 2017 and has overseen the recent expansion of operations into Slovakia. Stuart Jordan will now lead Savills’ branches in the Czech Republic and Poland, as well as coordinating cross-border activity with associate offices in Austria, Hungary, Romania, and Serbia.

Tomasz Buras, who has been CEO of Poland since 2014, will be leaving the company.

Savills Central and Eastern Europe will operate as one region, reflecting the way in which our clients operate, to allow us to ensure a seamless service within the CEE region. We have built out our teams across the region to ensure a full range of services, most recently growing our property management and logistics teams, our flexible office service Workthere, and by recruiting dedicated ESG experts. For 2024, the European Commission is anticipating GDP growth of 2.6 pct in the Czech Republic and 2.7 pct in Poland, above the 1.7 pct increase forecast for the EU as a whole, showing the ongoing growth opportunities for real estate players in the region.
