Forum Gliwice boosts BREEAM rating

POLAND The Forum shopping centre in Gliwice has increased its BREEAM In-Use rating from ‘Very Good’ to ‘Excellent’.
The factors of the centre that have been improved were: the energy efficiency, the indoor environment conditions and the environmental impact. This has been achieved due to the installation of energy efficient LED light sources, automated toilet valves, touch-free taps, indoor air quality and CO2 sensors and the installation of waste energy recovery devices. For the building management, the enhanced aspects include: the online monitoring of energy meter readings and the modernisation of control

Poland Makita doubles area in MLP Pruszków II

Power tool producer Makita has expanded its leased space at the MLP Pruszków II complex to around 18,000 sqm, nearly doubling its previously occupied area. The tenant is expected to move into its new space in mid-2026. Cushman & Wakefield supported the tenant in the transaction.

Poland PINK releases figures for 2025

According to the latest data from the Polish Chamber of Commercial Real Estate (PINK) at the end of Q4 2025, total modern industrial and logistics stock (including office space in these facilities) reached 36.6 mln sqm, with the largest markets being the Mazowieckie region (7.34 mln sqm), the Śląskie region (6.19 mln sqm), and the Dolnośląskie region (5.31 mln sqm).

CTP holds the record

The newly constructed warehouse, which has expanded CTPark Prague West, has been certified as the most environmentally friendly industrial building in the Czech Republic according to ‘BREEAM New Construction’ standards, with a record score of 92.1 pct. The building is home to Rhenus Logistics, which uses it as a cross-dock for its pan-European network for collection services and warehousing.

Very Green Norblin

Owned by the Capital Park Group, the Warsaw mixed use complex Norblin Factory has received the final BREEAM certificates for both its office and retail sections. A photovoltaic system has been installed in the complex, and the managers are continuing their efforts to steadily reduce the property’s carbon footprint.

Energy consumption reduced by almost 48 pct, almost 4 mln litres of water saved in a year and CO2 emissions reduced by more than 3,900 tonnes - these are the savings generated by the Warsaw P180 office building, developed by Skanska in Warsaw by the Wilanowska metro station. The investment has just received LEED Core & Shell certification at the Platinum level.

CA Immo has concluded 45 lease agreements with a total of nearly 29,000 sqm of office space in Warsaw in the past year, 20 pct of which in Q4 of 2022. The company has also introduced a green lease initiative in 2022, governing mutual commitment of landlord and tenant to optimize sustainable building operations.
