CZECH REPUBLIC The Prague branch of JLL has held its fourth annual beach volleyball charity tournament, this time raising a record CZK 657,000.
The fourth Czech Real Estate Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament took place on August 16th at Žluté lázně in Prague and was attended by a record 28 teams from companies operating on the Czech real estate market. Teams from the Czech and Slovak branches of JLL and Tétris also entered the competition, which was won by Erste Group Immorent, with HB Reavis placed second and Penta in third place. With the matches over, there was also an auction of eleven paintings, painted by volunteers from JL

Prague ranks among the European cities with the highest projected growth in flexible office space. This is primarily due to the long-standing shortage of new office buildings available for lease on the open market and to growing corporate demand for comprehensive services. Polish residential developer Develia has signed a preliminary agreement to buy the Stocznia Cesarska development from Belgian developers Alides and Revive. Alides and Revive acquired the 16-hectare site in 2017.

The TREE Group has been appointed to demolish the former Arkady Wrocławskie shopping centre on the site, to be completed by mid-2027. Over the next three years, retail sales in Poland will grow at nearly 3 pct annually. The supply of retail space is growing, especially in retail parks in small towns, attracting interest from both developers and investment funds, according to the "Retail Insights" report prepared by JLL.
