Ronald McDonald Foundation to house the parents of the sick

POLAND The Ronald McDonald foundation is to build the Ronald McDonald’s House on the grounds of the Medical University of Warsaw, where parents of seriously ill children will be able to lodge without charge.

The land on ul. Księcia Trojdena was donated by the hospital and the building is also to include a nursery school for the children of those who work in the hospital.

The building will include apartments with bathrooms, meeting rooms, a terrace with an exercise place, a kitchen and a dining room as well as laundry facilities. Construction work is to start in Q4 2019. The charity also manages a similar 1,300 sqm centre in the University Children's Hospital in Kraków.
