POLAND Dual chargers introduced at MLP Pruszków I

Green projects
Polish warehouse developer MLP Group has introduced dual charging stations at its MLP Pruszków I distribution park for electric and hybrid vehicles.

As electromobility becomes increasingly common in our daily lives, by using electricity from renewable sources we can enable our customers to charge their electric vehicles with a guarantee of 100 pct green and exhaust free driving.
Karolina Pokora-Malewska, the PR manager of MLP Group

The stations also use electricity from such renewable sources as the PV solar panels installed on the roof of one of the warehouses in the distribution centre in Pruszków, on Warsaw’s western outskirts.

The use of photovoltaic systems in charging stations for electric vehicles is not only a good and cheap solution, but first of all it is a renewable energy source. Thanks to the measures we are undertaking, we are contributing to reducing exhaust gas emissions. Photovoltaic systems are already commonplace at MLP Group, and more electric car charging stations will be installed at MLPG parks if it turns out that our tenants show significant interest in them. There is a growing expectation among existing and potential tenants that ecological standards are followed, while care for the environment and pro-environmental activities are already a standard on the warehouse property market.
Agnieszka Góźdź, the sales director of MLP Group

According to the company, its primary aim is to reduce CO2 emissions due to activity in its parks, increase the percentage of green energy used and, over the next few years, reduce the price of electricity usage, which is currently very high. MLP also aims to receive BREEAM certification for all its new projects.

As well as Poland, MLP’s development portfolio extends to Germany and Romania that totals around 170,000 sqm.
