CEE REGION Avison Young expands into Czech and Bulgaria

Human resources
Avison Young has launched two new strategic affiliations in the Czech Republic and Bulgaria to expand the firm’s services to clients further across the CEE region.

The company, which already has branches in Hungary, Poland and Romania, will be opening a new Czech branch on April 1st. It will be led by its principal and managing director Ryna Wray, a capital markets and valuation specialist. He will work in close cooperation with David Canta, his counterpart at Avison Young in Romania. The team will advise occupiers and landlords in areas as: capital markets and investment brokerage; valuation advisory services; office, retail and industrial leasing; property management; and research and consulting services.

In Bulgaria, Avison Young will be affiliated with Slavtchev Consulting, which was founded by Anton Slavtchev in 2012. As well as brokerage, advisory and office building management, it also provides landlord and tenant representation services, marketing advisory services and market research.

Building our capability in the region CEE is a key component of our European expansion plans; we are gradually expanding our geographical footprint across Europe and we expect further announcements will follow. As we expand, our focus is on deploying the skills, technology and intelligence that allows us to provide the leading service our clients expect from us. Our aim is to offer a seamless service of the highest quality across the CEE region and indeed all of Europe.
Gerry Hughes, thee principal and president of Avison Young Europe

Earlier this year, Avison Young announced that it was affiliating in Hungary with real estate advisory and asset management group Limehouse.
