A 5,165 sqm cross-docking terminal developed by Panattoni for DB Schenker in Świdnik on Lublin’s eastern outskirts has receiving BREEAM ‘Very Good’ certification.
The centre is partially powered with electricity from renewable energy sources and CO2 emissions have been reduced by around 30 pct and water usage by 67 pct.
The electricity supply is from renewable energy sources. A control system has been installed for the outdoor lighting based on an astronomical clock and motion sensors. The maximum amount of waste is recycling, and a modern air-conditioning system has been installed with reduced coolant emissions. Waterless urinals have been fitted as
