Poland NoVa stays green

Green projects
The NoVa Park centre in Gorzów Wielkopolski has been awarded BREEAM-In-Use for the eighth time.

Despite the more demanding criteria, the centre’s rating has improved and has been rated as ‘Excellent’ for its asset performance and ‘Very Good’ for its building management. As well as advanced energy-saving systems 7,200 sqm, which is 17 pct of the area of the centre is now green. NoVa Park was first certified in 2014.

Once again we have managed to acquire a BREEAM In-Use certificate, this time with a better rating than last despite the more stringent criteria such as proper management, waste recycling, water usage and health and wellbeing and site management. NoVa Park remains the only shopping centre in the Lubuskie province to possess such a certificate.
Katarzyna Jaster, the vice director of NoVa Park

NoVa Park opened in 2012. Its tenants include a Spar supermarket, a Fabryka Forma fitness club and stores such as Stradivarius, Bershka, Pull&Bear, Cropp, House, Reserved Kids and C&A.
