Poland P180 under construction with Vertua concrete

Green projects
Skanska and building material supplier Cemex have introduced Vertua low-emission concrete to the market.
The first time this material has been used on a large scale is during the construction of the developer’s P180 office building in Warsaw. Concrete accounts for 56 pct of the carbon footprint built into construction materials when compared with steel, aluminium, glass and ceramics. The production of Vertua concrete has 42 pct lower carbon emissions. The P180 building is under construction in Warsaw next to the Wilanowska metro station. CTP holds the record

The newly constructed warehouse, which has expanded CTPark Prague West, has been certified as the most environmentally friendly industrial building in the Czech Republic according to ‘BREEAM New Construction’ standards, with a record score of 92.1 pct. The building is home to Rhenus Logistics, which uses it as a cross-dock for its pan-European network for collection services and warehousing.
