World Skanska to be even greener

Skanska has announced it will tackle its own greenhouse emissions more aggressively and cut its 2015 CO2 emissions by 70 pct by 2030.
The previous target was 50 pct by 2030, but Skanska has decided that having already cut its emissions by 40 pct, it will should aim for tougher targets. The overall goal of being carbon neutral by 2045 remains.
The message in the report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) this autumn is clear. Society must make further efforts to drastically reduce CO2 emissions. Our goal-oriented initiatives in all our markets have been highly successful in our effort to achieve carbon
