LITHUANIA LEED ‘Platinum’ for Vastint in Vilnius

Green projects
The first phase of Business Garden Vilnius, the developer of which is Vastint, has been awarded LEED ‘Platinum’ certification.

The two-building first phase of the office complex, which is situated on a 6.2 ha site west of the city centre and close to the LitExpo Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre, contains 42,000 sqm of office and retail/service space. The first phase came into use last October.

Both buildings received 95 points in their LEED assessments. According to Vastint, only 30 buildings around the world have achieved 95 points or more. The developer also claims that five out of the highest ten scoring LEED certifications in Europe were obtained by buildings in its portfolio.

In October 2019 the three buildings of Vastint Romania’s Business Garden Bucharest received even higher LEED ‘Platinum’ certification scores – 98 (building A), 96 (building B) and 97 (building C).
