POLAND First Polish Platinum for GTC

Green projects
The Nothus building in GTC’s Aeropark Business Centre in Warsaw has received an upgraded LEED rating of ‘Platinum’, while the Zephirus building in the same complex has retained its LEED ‘Gold’ status.

The Nothus building is now the first in GTC’s Polish portfolio to achieve LEED ‘Platinum’ certification, having been upgraded from ‘Gold’. Zephirus has retained its LEED ‘Gold’ certification, while the other building in the complex, Corius, has also been previously LEED ‘Gold’ certified. Each of the three buildings within Aeropark has a leasable area of 9,600 sqm.

Since April 2021, the complex has been powered by green energy. Aeropark, which features extensive green areas with a pond. also offers bike racks and showers for cyclists, an electric scooter charging station . An automated Żabka Nano store has recently opened in the park, while a gym, volleyball and boules courts are also available to users. GTC has introduced its ‘Welcome GTC’ app to the park, via which users can access information about the group’s ESG activities and book meeting rooms, among other features.

LEED ‘Platinum’ certification is undoubtedly one of our most important achievements this year. Nothus has been recognised for its excellent air quality results, low utility consumption and very positive feedback from tenants. I am very proud that GTC is continuously pursuing greater and greater standards of sustainability – this is now one of the main pillars of our strategy.
Grzegorz Strutyński, the Poland country manager of Globe Trade Centre

Aeropark, which is situated on ul. Komitetu Obrony Robotników close to Warsaw’s Chopin Airport, has a total area of 28,800 sqm.

GTC also recently obtained a BREEAM International In-Use ‘Excellent’ certificate for University Business Park in Łódź – a complex of two nine-storey office buildings with a total area of more than 40,000 sqm.
