Romania Extensions rather than new leases
In Bucharest the interest of office tenants was much higher for contract extensions than for new spaces in Q3 2023. The companies traded a total area of 158,900 sqm, of which 104,000 sqm were extensions and 51,900 sqm leases of new spaces, according to the analysis made by Fortim Trusted Advisors, member of the BNP Paribas Real Estate Alliance.

Auditing and financial services specialist VGD Group has become the first tenant of the Rohan City development in Prague. The company will be taking up 2,400 sqm of office space for 200 employees in the A1 building of the complex.

Vastint Poland has obtained WiredScore Platinum for K2 office building in Gdynia. K2 is the first in the TriCity and the 61st building certified under this system in Poland.

Sonar Real Estate has successfully agreed the extension of an existing lease, on around 4,500 square metres of office space in Berlin, to 4flow. Sonar is the asset manager of the property, which is part of the portfolio of an Austrian family office.

According to the Guinness Book of Records, the world's largest office building is now the Surat Diamond Bourse in India. The complex, in Surat (Gujara) comprises almost 660,000 sqm.
