US real estate investor Prime Kapital has announced that it is to develop a large-scale urban regeneration project on a brownfield site in Cluj-Napoca in northwest Romania.

Poland Challenging electricity prices
The current geopolitical situation has destabilised energy markets, with the real estate also affected by rising electricity prices. Existing buildings account for close to 55 pct of energy consumed by the construction industry globally and for over 35 pct of greenhouse gas emissions, while almost 75 pct of buildings in the European union fail to meet energy performance requirements.

Office investment dominated the first half of 2022, as the most traded asset type in the CEE countries. It accounted for 2.5 billion euro which was 42 pct of the total investment volume in the region - reveals a new report by Colliers.

Romania Regional markets thrive in Romania
In the last three months, a total area of over 109,000 sqm of modern office space has been leased in Romania’s largest cities, which means an increase of 9 pct compared to the previous year. The agreements included both new contracts and extensions of the old ones. Top cities that attracted the most office tenants in III Q of 2022 are, apart from Bucharest, Iasi, Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara.

Poland Spire full of benefits
Since the beginning of the year, five companies have leased a total of 10,000 sqm of office space in Warsaw Spire C, which represents almost half of the building. Four of the contracts are renewals, two contracts contained 'green provisions'. The office building's occupancy rate currently exceeds 96 pct.
