One retailer in four uses AI

WORLD “In 2016 around 4 pct of retailers were using artificial intelligence. Now we are seeing that this figure has risen to around 28 pct or over one in four retailers. We think this is because retailers are trying to get better intelligence to get the right tools for the job so that they can empower and enable their own workforce develop their capabilities to better understand what customers want to do right now,” said Mary Wallace from IBM Interactive Experience during the REDI 2019 trade fair held by PRCH from May 27-28th in the Koneser complex in Warsaw.

“We are trying to help retailers in their business by bringing together real time information that customers are broadcasting every second of every day via social media,” she adds.
