Robin Macpherson

Valad Europe has hired Robin Macpherson as head of risk. He will report directly to David Kirkby, CEO for Europe and will be responsible for all aspects of risk management affecting the European business. The role will include leading and overseeing legal and compliance issues and ensuring that standards of good corporate governance are in place and maintained. He joins from RBS where he was head of legal responsible for structured finance and product. Prior to this he was a solicitor at Travers Smith in London. Robin has a degree in law from the University of
Birmingham.
