Vanessa Gelado

Vanessa Gelado has been promoted from the position of fund and strategy director to Investment Director. In her new role, she will combine her current responsibilities of leading retail investments and the strategy of the company with those of business development. She will be in charge of the company’s expansion strategy, defining the direction and execution of Neinver’s new business developments and acquisitions across Europe. Vanessa joined the company in 2015 as fund director to lead the restructuring of the IRUS European Retail Property Fund, a closed-end real estate fund focused on outlet centres that had been launched in 2007. She has more than 15 years of professional experience having started her career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in London. She then joined Tishman Speyer, where she eventually became the portfolio manager of the Tishman Speyer European Real Estate Venture VI. Later, she joined Drago Capital, where she was managing director for Acquisitions and Investor Relations. She holds a degree in business administration from ICADE (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas) in Madrid and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.
