Dariusz Blocher

Dariusz Blocher has been appointed as group director for Europe. He will continue to serve as the CEO of Budimex in Poland, a company that is majority owned by Ferrovial. He has been employed by Budimex since 2002, being initially responsible for HR management. In 2007 he was promoted to the position of the CEO of Budimex Dromex, and in 2009 to CEO of the Budimex group, which includes its operations in Germany and Lithuania. As the CEO of the Budimex group he also manages the German branch of the company and a construction contract in Lithuania. He started his career at the Ahlstrom-Fakop Industrial Boiler Factory and from 1994 to 2002 he was employed by Pepsi Co. Dariusz graduated in mechanics and machine building from the Częstochowa University of Technology and went on to study at the IESE Business School in Barcelona.
