Martin Lakomý

Martin Lakomý has joined the company’s design and build Team as a senior associate. He specialises in construction management, especially for cinemas, offices, detached houses and shopping centres. After his studies at the University College of Northern Denmark and his return to the Czech Republic, he was employed as a construction manager in Norway and France. In 2015, he became a member of a property management team of Cinema City in Prague as property coordinator, where he worked for 3.5 years. Following this, in his position as technical manager of the Nový Smíchov shopping centre in Prague, he gained extensive experience of obtaining building permits, tenant coordination and refurbishments.

Martin’s completed projects abroad include three wooden family houses in Oslo and two near Geneva. His projects closer to home include Cinema City Chodov in Prague and several cinema refurbishments in the Czech and Slovak republics (e.g. Zličín, Slovanský Dům, Polus, Letňany, Aupark, Flora). His achievements include obtaining a building permit for the terrace of the Nový Smíchov shopping centre. He also managed to obtain BREEAM In-Use ‘Excellent’ certification in 2018 and 2019 for Nový Smíchov and a mall in Plzeň.
