Mikołaj Niemczycki has joined the capital markets team of Cushman & Wakefield as an associate – responsible for driving forward business development and brokerage, primarily in the office sector as well as for supporting initiatives in the alternatives sector. Mikołaj joined office agency team at the end of 2014. He has experience in tenant representation in office leasing transactions and landlord advisory, specialising in coworking and proptech. As the coworking clients manager, he has been a key figure in establishing C&W’s market leading position in the flexible office leasing sector in Poland and the CEE region. In 2018 and 2019 alone, he was involved in a total of 68,000 sqm of space lease acquisitions for coworking operators, including WeWork and Chasopys. He was the project leader of the strategic partnership agreement signed between C&W and Polish proptech start-up ShareSpace, which promotes and develops new technological and commercial solutions for tenants with flexible workspace requirements through online leasing platforms. In his new role, he will be responsible for supporting business development in the capital markets team as well as brokerage and advisory services in disposals of office and alternative real estate assets. Mikołaj is a graduate of the University of Warwick with a BA in history and holds an MSc in business (finance and accounting) from Warwick Business School.
