Steffen Walvius

Steffen Walvius has been appointed head of a new expert team founded within CBRE structures to focuse on energy and carbon consulting for Continental Europe. The team will provide companies with comprehensive services so they can achieve energy savings, meet carbon targets and generate renewable energy across their portfolio. Steffen Walvius is a graduate of the University of Zaragoza in Spain in the field of the Sustainable Management of Energy Systems. He has more than ten years of international experience in the field of construction, energy and real estate, during which he worked with representatives of companies and investors to improve their companies’ ESG and the sustainability of their real estate portfolios. Steffen is also an active member of the European sustainability working group within the RICS professional body and of the EU-funded research project Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor.
