Joanna Plaisant

Joanna Plaisant has been promoted to strategic partnership & sustainability director and has joined the management team of Arcadis Poland. She will be responsible for the development of sustainability services and, together with her team, will support clients in meeting their sustainability goals, as well as help organizations navigate the complexities of sustainability and responsible business practices.

Her 18-years experience includes client and stakeholder engagement. Joanna has a background in European law, specializing in ESG regulations. She is experienced in delivering international projects involving legal, sustainability and ESG aspects. She was responsible for preparing, managing and delivering sustainability solutions for international and national clients. Plaisant is a member of the Global Sustainability Leadership team for Arcadis and member of the Arcadis Net Zero Core Group. In her role, she builds teams, develops innovative sustainability services, and leads projects with pan-European teams.

Her qualifications include a Master's in Law from Humboldt University, Berlin, and certifications in Business Sustainability and Sustainable Finances from Cambridge University, a GRI Certified Professional and Mediator with International Accreditation, RICS.
