Marcin Wielgus

Marcin Wielgus has taken up the position of chief operating officer at Hines Polska.
Marcin Wielgus joined Hines in 2008 and initially focused on reporting, securing financing and overseeing subsidiaries in Cyprus and Luxembourg. He was also responsible for creating and verifying financial models for all current and potential investments managed by Hines in Poland. Over the years, he led the business development and acquisitions team, focusing on identifying new business opportunities and executing transactions. He also served as director of debt financing, arranging, negotiating and implementing external debt management and hedging strategies for all Hines projects in Poland. Most recently, he served as chief financial officer and director of transactions, being responsible for all financial and transactional issues at Hines Polska.
Marcin Wielgus holds a master's degree in finance and accounting and a postgraduate degree in corporate financial management from the Warsaw School of Economics. He has completed the CCIM programme and is a member of the RICS.
