The supervisory board of CPK has selected Dr Filip Czernicki as chairman of the board of directors of the Central Port of Communications and Marcin Michalski as a member of the board of directors in a selection procedure.
Dr Filip Czernicki has several years of experience in the aviation industry and managing human teams. While working at the Polish State Enterprise Porty Lotnicze, he was involved in initiating, managing and supervising the implementation of such strategic projects as Chopin Airport City, the expansion of Chopin Airport to border capacity, and the reconstruction of the road system around Chopin Airport. For several years, he served as chairman of the supervisory board of Szczecin-Goleniów Airport. In the period 2006-2012, he was a plenipotentiary for the launch of the airport in Modlin. For many years, he was responsible for the implementation of ownership policy and supervision of subsidiary companies at PPL. He conducted market analyses of potential investments in the airport sector and managed a portfolio of strategic projects at PPL.
Filip Czernicki holds a PhD in law, is a legal adviser and university lecturer. He specialises in aviation law, company law, NGO law and project management and business consultancy. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw.
