Marcel Hertig

Marcel Hertig has taken up the position of managing director, head of Germany, at Griffin Capital Partners. Marcel Hertig, who has been in the industry for over 15 years, is an accomplished expert in real estate and private equity investments. In his new role, he will focus on identifying and sourcing investment opportunities in real estate and private equity, as well as overseeing Griffin's projects in Germany, including those related to Bauwert. The expansion, culminating in the establishment of Griffin Capital Partners Germany, follows several key transactions in the region, including the acquisition of Bauwert in April 2023.
Prior to joining GCP, Marcel managed Patron Capital's investments in the German market and then at TPG Angelo Gordon led the private equity real estate business as investment director in Germany and Benelux.
