Sebastian Junghänel

Sebastian Junghänel has been appointed to the management board in the position of COO and will be responsible for the company's German market strategy.

He has worked in the commercial and residential real estate sector in Germany and Central and Eastern Europe for over 18 years. He specialises in asset management, strategic and operational planning, and project development, incorporating ESG and innovation solutions. He has successfully led numerous streamlining projects and built up international teams.

As co-founder and managing director of Zeitgeist Asset Management, he built a real estate portfolio from scratch worth over EUR 1 bln over 11 years, including residential, office, hotel, and student housing projects across five countries in the CEE region. Previously, he held management positions at the Hochtief Group with responsibility for projects in Germany, Austria, Turkey, and the Czech Republic.

He graduated in architecture from the University of the Arts in Berlin and in industrial engineering and management from the Technical University of Berlin. Additionally, he completed postgraduate courses from European and American universities, including in real estate, business strategy, and architecture.
