Andrei Văcaru

Andrei Văcaru has been appointed managing director, effective from January 1st, 2026. He will continue to lead the CEE capital markets team, while also taking on a new role supporting regional experts and facilitating cross-border capital flows.
Andrei has been with the firm for 18 years, from its time within JLL to the formation of iO Partners. His experience spans numerous market cycles, structural changes, and strategic transformations, giving him a deep understanding of how businesses operate and what they need to achieve peak performance. Over the past two and a half years, under his leadership, the CEE capital markets team has achieved its best-ever results, completed key transactions across multiple markets and asset classes, and rapidly increased revenue.
