Cristina Burlacu

Cristina Burlacu has been appointed general manager of The Westin Warsaw. In her new role, she will be responsible for the hotel's strategic and operational management, business development, and strengthening The Westin Warsaw's market position.

Cristina has been involved in the hospitality industry for over a decade. She began her career in Italy, where she gained experience in event management at the prestigious The St. Regis Florence and The Westin Excelsior Florence. She enrolled in the Vita Futura programme – a Starwood Hotels & Resorts initiative that prepares future leaders in the hospitality industry. She served as front office manager at the Sheraton Grand Warsaw, then at the Bristol Hotel, and at the Luxury Collection Hotel Warsaw, where she was responsible for key operational areas and building the highest-quality guest experience. In 2018, she joined PURO Hotels as chief operating officer and then general manager of the PURO Poznań Stare Miasto hotel. In 2023, she became general manager of the Sheraton Poznań Hotel.
