Søren Rodian Olsen

Søren Rodian Olsen has joined as executive director and head of capital markets, effective September 1. He will be responsible for the department’s strategy, investment transactions and advisory services.

Olsen has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate and financial services. Before joining Newmark, he was a director and board member of Urban Partners in Poland, where he established the company’s Warsaw office in 2021. He was also responsible for developing Urban Partners’ Logicenters logistics platform in Poland, including the acquisition of 7R.

He began his career in Poland in the financial sector, holding senior management positions at Bank Austria Creditanstalt and Commerzbank. He subsequently moved into real estate asset management, becoming country director for Poland at Aberdeen Immobilien, the Frankfurt-based real estate fund and asset manager.

Olsen later joined Cushman & Wakefield as partner and head of Capital Markets, advising clients on major commercial real estate transactions across Central and Eastern Europe.

He holds a degree in finance from Copenhagen Business School and an MBA from the University of Westminster. He is a chartered member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and sits on the Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute Poland.
