Krzysztof Rabiański

Krzysztof Rabiański has been appointed the president of Empik Media & Fashion. Rabiański currently serves as both vice-president of the management board and financial director of a CEE generic medicines manufacturer, Grupa Polpharma. He will take up the position on September 1st, 2014. Rabiański has extensive experience in corporate financial management in Poland and in foreign markets. He started his career in PepsiCo Food/ Frito Lay. Later on, from 1999 to 2003, he served as financial director and board member in Piklington Group, where he was responsible for restructuring process and the ERP system implementation. From 2003 to 2006, he was the company’s president and regional financial director for Scandinavia. In 2006, he was appointed financial director and vice-president of Żywiec Zdrój, a part of Danone Group, where he worked on gaining market share and brand recognition on the local market. In 2011, he joined Grupa Polpharma, where he was responsible for backing the company’s expansion, market value, as well as debt and risk management. Rabiański graduated from the Wrocław University of Economics and the Warsaw School of Economics.
