Roman Wieczorek has become business unit president for Skanska in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Roman will replace outgoing Dan Ťok, who was appointed as the Czech Republic’s new Minister for Transport. Roman Wieczorek will at the same time continue to serve as executive vice president within Skanska AB’s Senior Executive Team (SET), which coordinates the work of Skanska civil construction units across Central Europe. Roman, who joined Skanska in 1998, took the position in 2010. Previously he worked for Skanska's civil construction unit in Poland, where he held a range of positions, including affiliate director, division executive vice president, business unit president and the chairman of the board of directors. Roman graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland with a degree in law.
