Janusz Mitulski

Janusz Mitulski has been appointed development director of Marriott International in Central and Eastern Europe. He will be responsible for the hotel chain’s growth across Poland, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia and Hungary. Janusz joins Marriott International from the Horwath HTL Polska consultancy, where he was a partner and the head of the hotel and tourist consultancy team. Previously he worked for the Qubus Hotel chain for many years, where he served as the director of two hotels, and then sales and marketing director for the entire chain for over five years. Over the 15 years he spent working in the hotel industry, Janusz has been strongly involved in growing the Polish hotel business. He is vice-president of the Chamber of Polish Hotel Industry and a co-organizer and lecturer of the Hotelier Academy. He also authored Hotel Guidebook and co-founded the Hotel & Tourism Trends industry conference. Janusz is also an active hotel business commentator.
