Tom Blades

Tom Blades is to assume the role of chairman of the executive board at Bilfinger SE as of July 1st, 2016. He joins Bilfinger from Linde AG, where he currently serves on the executive board. At Bilfinger, in addition to his function as CEO, he will also be responsible for the industrial business segment. Tom has many years of management experience in industrial companies and has been on the executive board at Linde since 2012. He will be responsible, among other things, for the Americas business and for the safety, reliability and efficiency of industrial plants throughout the world. Prior to his time at Linde, he was at Siemens as CEO of the oil and gas division and has served in management positions at international oil field service providers Halliburton and Schlumberger. He is a British citizen who was born in Hamburg in 1956. He completed his degree in electrical engineering in the United Kingdom and France.
