The future of construction and the growing importance of revitalisation and sustainable development were the focus of a business breakfast entitled ‘Construction of Tomorrow – The Synergy of Revitalisation and Sustainable Development’, organised by CFE and Eurobuild Conferences
The event took place at the Mozaika Restaurant in the Royal Tulip Hotel in Warsaw and brought together investors, developers, property owners, asset managers and architects – all keen to explore how adaptive reuse and modernisation are shaping the next phase of the real estate market. The discussion centred on how to balance the economic and environmental dimensions of real estate projects, with an emphasis on strategic decision-making: when to modernise, when to adapt, and when demolition might no longer make sense in a world driven by ESG targets and stricter EU regulations. Opening the event, Małgorzata Boroń-Šinković, the co-CEO of CFE, introduced the company and set the tone for the morning’s discussion. She pointed to the challenges of the green transition and the need for the sector to respond proactively to climate and regulatory pressures. “The future belongs to those who can integrate sustainability with smart business decisions,” she said,
