MLP Group planning new logistics projects

The company is also planning a new project in Upper Silesia. “We are also analysing expansion into the eastern part of the country, which in our opinion will become more and more popular among potential tenants. Apart from parks we are also planning the construction of BTS projects for individual clients,” says Radosław T. Krochta, the vice-president of MLP Group. The projects are to be financed mostly from the company’s own funds. Including the capital raised by the company from its last year’s public share issue, MLP Group currently has app. PLN 100 mln of liquid assets. The five logistics parks it is now in the process of expanding allow for the construction of a warehouse area of 372,000 sqm, which would double the current scale of its operations. Most of the expansion potential is in MLP Pruszków II, MLP Poznań and MLP Bieruń. The company is planning to deliver a warehouse area of over 41,000 sqm in H1 2014 in contracts that have been signed and those which are currently being executed. Last year the warehouse developer signed leases with 22 clients for a warehouse and office area of almost 94,000 sqm. At the end of last year the total area leased by MLP exceeded 350,600 sqm – a growth of 18.5 pct since the end of 2012.
