Building for hundredth anniversary celebration

LITHUANIA The government of Lithuania has decided to modernise a number of buildings of national importance to mark the on hundredth anniversary of the restoration of its independence in 1918. Some of the building will be put to new uses and are to be completely redeveloped, while a national stadium is also to be built.
Eurobuild was informed that “the majority of projects are being undertaken by the government of Lithuania,” by Aušra Sičiūnienė from the city hall in Vilnius. These include: Valdovų Rūmai (the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania – which was reconstructed from scratch having been demolished some time around 1800), the renovation of the Signatarų Namai (the House of Signatories –the building, now a museum, in which the Independence Act of 1918 was signed),
