Twosome top the poll

Feature
Senior property manager Magdalena Filipczak, and client relationships director Agnieszka Krzekotowska – both with Colliers International – walked away with the title of best office managers at the Eurobuild Awards 2017. They are both responsible for the Warsaw Financial Center skyscraper in Warsaw. But what is their recipe for success?

The property management market is becoming more competitive and more demanding. How have you managed to stand out so successfully from the rest of the field?

The most important thing is listening to the tenants and responding to their needs. This helps us to create the atmosphere of a friendly place that is open to ideas and suggestions. That’s why we have been keen to foster an atmosphere of openness in the WFC building we manage, sharing with the tenants the action plans we implement. We strive to make the building not only a friendly workplace but also to make it stand out from the others. We care for the tenants by providing a range of attractive amenities for them, including a unique terrace on the 32nd floor (Roofa32). So our recipe for success consists of three key factors: addressing tenants’ needs, information sharing and keeping our word.

The management of such a large building with so many tenants is certainly a challenge and requires team work. Is there anyone you would like to dedicate the Award to?

The credit for this special distinction goes to the entire management team as it is the fruit of the work of all their services and of each person who has contributed to creating the building’s image and atmosphere. That’s why we are dedicating this award to the entire team – the fantastic people we have the privilege of working with every day. We have worked together for the success of WFC and the satisfaction of its tenants. So we would like to thank them all very much for their contribution and involvement!

After all the hard work its time to take a breather and enjoy the fruits of your labour. How did you celebrate the Eurobuild Award?

We have already celebrated it – at the Eurobuild Awards gala, and later celebrated it with Colliers’ staff together with our client, the owner of WFC – the consortium of Allianz Real Estate and the Curzon Capital Partners III investment fund managed by Tristan Capital Partners. The award has given us fresh impetus to further intensify our work. At the same time we would like to thank all our tenants for their wonderful cooperation and for showing their appreciation for us with this award.
