Driving and motorbikes

In the early morning of the big day, almost 100 smiling but fiercely determined competitors gathered at the First Warsaw Golf & Country Club in Rajszew for the first of these events. Two models of Harley-Davidson motorbikes – a Road King Special and a Street Glide Special – were on display to welcome the guests at the entrance to the golf pavilion. The manufacturer of these legendary machines was one of the patrons of the tournament. The players spent several hours on the course, where the weather was perfect – sunny, but not too hot. The tee-off section of the tournament started at 9 am. The golfers set off every 10 minutes in teams of four, to tee off from two holes (1 and 8) at the same time. The last players still competing finally left the field at around 5 pm. Antoni Strzelecki of the First Warsaw Golf & Country Club won the main event in the Stroke Play Gross competition (3.1 J 76), while in the main handicap part of the tournament the first three plac
