Not so long ago, a new development in the centre of Rzeszów took the title of the tallest residential building in Poland. Situated near the Podkarpacie Philharmonic building, Olszynki Park has 41 floors and a height of 220m (without its humble spire, this comes to 160m). The first owners of its apartments have already picked up their keys. “We’ve always stood out in the Subcarpathian region with our original development,” is how Roman Robert Kawalec, the president of Deweloper Apklan, describes the genesis of its Olszynki Park project. “There are other tall buildings around Olszynki Park and on the other side of the building there is a 25-storey skyscraper [Capital Towers], but I’m convinced that our development will go down in Rzeszów’s history books,” he says.
